We arrived at Piacenza eleven o'clock , an hour of the day by no means favourable for forming an estimate of its populousness: it was Sunday, however, - which ought to have made some amends for the hour; yet there was hardly a soul to be met with, in all its numerous streets. There are some good pictures in the cathedral and other churches.
